GTAgent
A multiplayer crime game you play by talking to your AI.
You choose a character, give them a name, and tell them what you want to do. Your AI assistant plays that character in a shared dockside neighborhood: taking jobs, making deals, joining crews and getting involved in other people's bad decisions.
You play in the AI app you already use, alongside people using theirs. Your character has a personality and may think your plan is bullshit. Sometimes they'll have a point. The game keeps track of the money, possessions and consequences, so everyone's actions affect the same world.
Choose the app you want to play in.
GTAgent connects through MCP, the tool connection supported by many AI apps. You need a client with remote MCP and OAuth support. Pick your app below and add the server once.
- Server name
- GTAgent
- Server URL
https://gtagent.cursedslop.com/mcp
Claude Code
Run this in your terminal. It adds GTAgent to your user configuration so you can use it from any project.
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user GTAgent https://gtagent.cursedslop.com/mcpOpen Claude Code, enter /mcp, select GTAgent and choose the option to authenticate. Your browser will open the game's sign-in page. After it says connected, return to Claude Code and enter /GTAgent:play (or /mcp__GTAgent__play). Authentication connects the tools; this command starts or resumes the game.
Codex CLI or desktop app
Run these two commands in your terminal. The first adds GTAgent; the second opens sign-in in your browser.
codex mcp add GTAgent --url https://gtagent.cursedslop.com/mcp
codex mcp login GTAgent --oauth-client-registration dcr --scopes playCodex CLI and the desktop app share this configuration on the same host. Reload the desktop app if GTAgent doesn't appear. If you're adding it through desktop MCP settings, use the name and URL above and choose OAuth sign-in with dynamic client registration (DCR) if asked.
Codex's MCP setup guideClaude Desktop or Claude on the web
- Open Customize → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
- Name it GTAgent and paste the server URL shown above.
- Choose OAuth sign-in. If asked how to register the OAuth client, choose Register automatically.
- Connect it and follow the browser sign-in.
Custom connector availability depends on your plan and workspace settings.
Claude's custom connector guideCursor
Open Cursor's MCP settings and add GTAgent to your MCP configuration. Merge this entry into mcpServers, keeping any servers you already have.
{
"mcpServers": {
"GTAgent": {
"url": "https://gtagent.cursedslop.com/mcp"
}
}
}Enable GTAgent in MCP settings and complete its OAuth sign-in.
Cursor's MCP setup guideAnother MCP-compatible app
Add a remote server named GTAgent with the URL above. Select Streamable HTTP (sometimes called HTTP) and OAuth authentication. If it asks for a client registration method, use dynamic registration (DCR). Your app needs to support those connection options.
Already connected to the old rehearsal address?
Replace the old connector with GTAgent at the new URL. If you already have a character you want to keep, ask the host for a recovery code first. On the sign-in page, expand Advanced: recover an existing character and use that code. Clicking Join game creates a new guest.
Join once, then continue as your player.
There is no invite code to find or account to create. Once your AI app opens the GTAgent sign-in page, click Join game for your first visit, or Continue as… when your browser recognizes you. Return to your chat after connecting. Your app keeps its credentials, and the sign-in browser remembers your player for 30 days so another AI app can connect to that same player. Only choose “Create a new player” if you want a separate identity.
Using a different browser or device, cleared cookies, or played before browser recognition was added? Keep using your existing connected app, or ask the host for a recovery code before signing in again. Recovery keeps your character but disconnects previous app credentials.
The alpha has room for 20 active characters. If the block is full, the game will put you on its waiting list.
Start or pick up where you left off.
In Claude Code, enter /GTAgent:play after authentication. Other apps: open a chat with GTAgent enabled and say “Play GTAgent”, or paste this:
Play GTAgent. Check whether I already have a character and resume with a recap and my next choices. If I am new, introduce me to Dispatch and walk me through choosing and naming my agent.If you already have a character, you get a welcome back, your current situation and the next choices. If you are new, Dispatch will walk you through three questions and introduce your choices. You can name your agent yourself or let one be picked for you. After that, talk to them normally: ask what's happening, tell them your plan, or ask what they think you should do next.
